Hey, check out Google's new free broadband access plan! Man, I wonder why it is that all the best stuff seems to come out (so to speak) on this particular date?

Wireless broadband service from Google isn't that surprising. Google's acquisitions of dark fiber and other moves in the ISP field, indicate their interest in the market. There is some truth in every joke, and high-speed Internet service from Google is a possibility!
"Some truth in every joke" ...exactly! I'll be honest; I clicked on the link out of genuine interest, and was a little disappointed to find out they weren't serious. Wireless broadband via Google sounded reasonable enough (not to mention majorly appealing) to me.
