Off and Running

Right now at RIGGS we're getting started with CreateAthon, an all-day-and-all-night outpouring of work for nonprofit organizations around the country. It's a little frightening to be undertaking such a thing on my fourth day on the job, but so far it's been fun. The clients are all interesting and giving, and I'm really excited to imagine that by this time tomorrow I'll be presenting finished ads, billboards and radio scripts to the Literacy Volunteers of the Lowcountry, Florence Crittenton services for young mothers and their families in Charleston, and the 3 Ring Arts Education Center in New Orleans.

Others here are working on stuff for other organizations -- 11 in all -- and there are snacks galore.
