I understand there's a big parade going on in downtown Indianapolis right now, celebrating the Colts' Super Bowl victory. Now, I'm the last guy to knock a parade, and I do appreciate the magnitude of this long-awaited achievement, but, um...
Seriously. I mean, go blue and all, but eff a bunch of that. I'll have my own parade, right here by the space heater.
football crazy !
i didn't even watch it on tv, but nonetheless, YAH COLTS!!!!
There was mass chaos in the city yesterday, which, I unfortunately could not attend because I had clients. Today, on the other hand, I'm staring out the window at about four inches of snow, watching it continue to fall. Peaceful, but ominous considering my drive home. One client showed up today! One! The rest canceled. Oh Well. WOOOO HOOOO for the friggin' COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I tried to call you and tell you that, but it said your number was out of service)YS
I missed the parade, but was there in spirit? Actually, my spirit goes only so far, and downtown in 1 degree weather is too far.The snow here is a real bear. It took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to get home from Carmel, and I left the office at 2:20 this afternoon. There weren't even lanes to be seen. It must be a really big deal, as they closed the mall at 6:00 this evening.Your snow shovel came in handy tonight. I shoveled at least 8" of snow off the driveway. I'll bet you're glad you don't have to use it any more.Love and hugsYM
