Tabula Rasa

I'm posting this entry from a shiny new laptop that is sitting on a totally clear desk (except for one picture of my wife) in my brand new office. I have a phone I've never used, a copy of Microsoft Word here that I've yet to break out of the plastic and a 60-Gigabyte hard drive with nothing on it except what came with the computer.

It's been extremely difficult to write this. I'm afraid to touch anything.
