Where Does All The Milk Go?

Just a few numbers I ran to find out what Veda does with all this milk we pour down her.

What about the milk stored as fat?

Sorry, I don't mean to be so critical. But, I'm an art director. I can't help myself.

What? Are you saying I have to change my post in some way?

Sorry, I'm a copywriter. I have to be defensive.

No, I count the fat under the "growth" heading. Any weight we can pack on the little bean is positive in my book. And since her formula is almost 5% fat, plus her little legs are starting to puff up nicely, I'd say that's a good portion of the extra Veda we're seeing around here.

What I *didn't* account for in my calculations, though, if you want to be really nitpicky about it, are the micrograms of milk lost to evaporation and the drops that cling to the inside of the bottle. So my little V = MC2 equation wouldn't quite hold up to scientific scrutiny.

Plus, isn't she getting some of her energy from the sunlight when we carry her by the window? I'd have to research it, and it sounds far-fetched, but if solar power causes us to produce Vitamin D, there must be some sort of non-plant photosynthesis going on. Right?

What about the milk that overflows from her mouth, down her cheek and soaks into your sleeve? What about that, huh?

I can offer no insight on your non-plant photosynthesis.

What I can say, is that your choices of color are brilliant. They are just now "soaking" in.

Wow. How did you come up with all of this? It's totally unlike you not to have researched it thoroughly before expounding. You really think pee and poo run that close?
